Flock Together: A Little Red Dress

Remixing little red dresses over at Flock Together today! Not only an incredibly versatile staple every gal should own, but perfectly appropriate for Vday tomorrow :)

This Ol' Heart

When I received this dress from Midwest Muse I was pretty excited to get to style it and I was even more excited when she said I could keep it! Not only is the colour scheme perfect for heart month, but it fits perfectly. Girl has an amazing closet of dresses and I am so lucky to get to try some.

 Since it was freezing this day I had to layer it with some fleece lined tights and my blazer. I can't wait for the days of bare skin and just throwing a dress on. Spring come soon please? Lucky for me I'm off to Vancouver next week

This time of the year is awesome because I can find heart shaped anything everywhere I go. Like this sparkly hearts, heart shaped and covered in glitter? A girl really doesn't even need an excuse to buy them. They are the perfect accessory for Heart month :)

Winter of Mixed Drinks

I absolutely love being part of Flock Together and being able to raid these amazingly stylish girls wardrobes. This dress from Jen came at the perfect time for my best friends Lana Del Ray themed birthday party, it has a cut out in the back and has a great fit and flare shape.

 I loved the way the dark blue, black and maroon looked together. I somehow have no navy in my wardrobe and I now believe that is a grave injustice that needs to corrected ASAP. This dress was actually really hard to send onto the next girl because I fell so hard for it. I went ultra glamour with my high high high heels, Jcrew bling and bold leather jacket for the party. I must say it is awesome to take a break from the everyday and get all dolled up with friends.

And no, I don't have my own personal wind machine, but the wind happened to be working with me this day ;)

(Secret) Santa Baby

Good Morning and a very Merry Christmas Eve to you all! I hope everyone has exciting plans with friends and family, that's definitely the part of the holidays I look forward to most, spending time with the Fam and consuming way too much delicious food/drink.
Being part of Flock Together has allowed me to meet some great gals and raid their amazing closets and now it brought me a great Christmas present! We decided to do a Secret Santa gift exchange, which was really fun and I was so happy to receive this gorgeous dress from the fantastic Erica. It's the perfect piece for me, a mix of edgy and feminine! The print is almost animal print/camo but in a fantastic fit in and flare with side cut outs. It's so cool how someone I only know through this blogging world could pick out something so perfectly "me"

Can't Stop Moving

I have had an obsession with tulle skirts for a while now but just haven't been able to land my hands on my dream one (except, ironically enough, in a dream...) but this one I got to borrow from the lovely Ashley is amazing. I love that it's not a typical tulle skirt because of the bright blue and it's the perfect length. I paired it with my striped bodysuit and adored this combination. This is the kind of skirt you can't help but swirl and twirl in because it has such a fantastic texture.

In a Galaxy Far Far away

Good Morning loves!! I hope everyone had a fantastic and relaxing weekend! Mine was alright, we got absolutely POURED on at the football game on Saturday night, oh mother nature, such a cruel mistress.

I have been obsessing over galaxy printed dresses/tops/skirts for a few months now so I was super happy to try out this gorgeous number from Midwest Muse. I love that I can try out different pieces from the amazing Flock Together gals! This skirt is really wonderful, I am sometimes apprehensive about the high-low trend, but it really works with this piece. And the print is to die for obviously! I paired it with my denim studded vest, and a black camisole because the skirt is the main attraction here.

Summer Love

Good morning my dears, and this definitely is a good morning since it's Friday!! Do you all have exciting plans for weekend? Mine involves working, going to the football game and playing soccer. Pretty chill and fun, just what I need!

I totally forgot I had taken these for our Flock Together style challenge! The challenge was what would you wear to a wedding this summer, and since I have a wedding to attend at the end of the month it was perfectly suited. You can check out what all the gals wore here This dress I got from Bamboo Ballroom is amazing, I absolutely adore the laser cut detailing in the back. And the fact that it has pockets! Seriously, give me a dress with pockets and I'm happy as a clam. Besides it's the perfect colour for lots of bright, fun accessories
