Florals for Fall

My favourite time of the year is always the transitional seasons, spring and autumn are without a doubt the best. So I've been very excited about the fact that we have had a spectacular fall here, it may have snowed on Sunday but up until that point I have been thoroughly enjoying September and October here in the great white north.

This outfit is basically a copy of a look my best friend wore a few weeks ago, I liked it so much I took a picture so I could recreate it! I'm so lucky I have such inspirational and stylin' friends. This floral dress is incredibly comfortable and I feel like these florals will be perfect for fall and winter. I decided to print mix it with these polka dot tights and match the leaves with my mustard cardigan. I guess I'm drawing inspiration from everything I see ;)

So Long Sweet Summer

Good Morning my loves, I hope your week is coming along nicely! I can't believe it's the end of August, already. This summer has flown by 100% too fast, I don't really want it to end. It's been a wonderful, laid back one filled to the brim with fun.

I am madly grasping at the last bits of summer with this double floral look. My two floral head crowns from Bamboo Ballroom have been my favourite accessories of the summer. It's hard not to feel summery wearing flowers in your hair and having them on my dress, makes it even better. This sundress served me perfectly well for a picnic with my best gal. Doesn't get much better than that ;)

Keep Me Searching For a Heart of Gold

Happy Friday my loves!! I hope you had a wonderful week and are ready for the weekend, I definitely am. It's going to be a good one, next tuesday is my birthday so we're going out to celebrate! First stop dinner and drinks, and then more drinks and perhaps some dancing at a tavern.

This maxi skirt is one of my favourite purchases of the summer, and I can see that it will transition really well into fall. It was perfect for a hot day with this black/white tank top knotted over top of it. Another thing I seem to obsessed with? This floral headcrown, it's perfect for channeling my inner flower child and frolicking in the empty field by my house.

White and Bright

Hey There Loves!! I hope you're as ready for the weekend as I am, it's Canada day monday so we get the day off. It's supposed to be really beautiful out too! I'm going to go out to the lake sunday/monday and relax, fish and soak up the sun with Mr.Duke, what are your plans?

When I saw this white blazer with the open lapels on the Jacob website I knew that I had to have it. It's the perfect summertime blazer, it's super lightweight, comfortable and goes with everything!! I don't wear a lot of white because I am incredibly clumsy but so far I have managed to keep it coffee stain free. I decided to pair it with this fantastic bright floral dress, and strappy sandals, the epitome of summer! Have a wonderful weekend my loves

Flowers In Her Hair

Hey There loves, I hope your week is coming along splendidly!! Mine has been wonderful, I finished my Spring course last week so I'm feeling quite less stressed. And the sun even made an appearance on monday! Nothing like a bit of natural vitamen D to put one in a good mood.

You know what else puts me in a good mood? This floral headband I picked up from Bamboo Ballroom, I have been wearing it all the time. In fact, I was wearing it while in my pajamas editing these photos. It just puts me in a good mood! This cropped lace top has a very similar effect on me, I got it Sunday from The Pretty Secrets pop-up vintage shop and it goes with everything. Everything!! I love pieces that are super versatile like that.

Opposites Attract

Good Morning there loves!! It's the weekend, are you ready for it? I am more then ready, it's been a super busy week and I am so tired. But this weekend marks the first game of preseason for the Edmonton Eskimo's and it's bound to be a good time. As well The Pretty Secrets is putting on a vintage pop-up sale, which are always amazing, so if you're in town be sure to check it out!

I have to admit I am so in love with this dress I snapped up from Vickie when we had our bloggers sale. It's such a perfectly summery piece, the colours and pattern are so fun. Another thing I'm obsessed with? Studs on everything! So this vest is top of my list and top of the pile of things I reach for every morning. While these pieces might seem total opposite, one girly the other grungy, in my books they work perfect together!

My sweet Duke is feeling back to his old self and decided to grace us with his adorable presence. Happy weekend friends!

Studly Gingham

Hey There!! It's finally time for the weekend, are you as excited as I am?? It's shaping up to be a busy and fun one :) I am so excited for my brothers graduation this weekend, I couldn't be prouder! It will be great to spend time with my family and celebrate.

I got this dress a little while ago, and I am wearing it allll the time. It's so comfrotable, has pockets and the gingham pattern is so great for summer. It's the perfect piece to add pops of colour to, like with this amazing neon pink purse, and my green nails. This denim vest has very quickly worked it's way into my wardrobe rotation! I love that the studs add a bit of edge to all the feminine dresses I pair it with.

This is by far my absolute favourite tee shirt of all time. It combines two of my favourite things, the beautiful and timeless Audrey Hepburn and Zombies!! And I think every gal (or guy for that matter) needs a super comfy easy white tee. This one goes absolutely perfectly with every single one of my skirts, and makes for such an easy, perfect summer look everytime. This is definitely something you'll be seeing more of it in the next couple months, be warned ;)

Neon and Floral

Hey There!! I hope everyone has had a fantastic weekend, mine has been jam packed and amazing. I want to thank everyone who came out and participated in the blogger sale and everyone who supported us! It was wonderful to spend the day with my awesome blogging friends, we had a good time and sold some stuff so it was fun. It's holiday monday today so no work or school, I wish every week had a long weekend, that'd be the best

I got this dress AND purse from Vickie at the blogger sale. I snatched this purse up the moment I spotted it, because it's fueling my obsession with bright coloured purses for spring and summer. And I can't resist this dress, it's the perfect summer floral sundress. This look was the perfect thing for a sunday of cruising my bike around the trails and paths around my house and grabbing a delicious iced coffe. I am really loving the weather here and trying to soak it up.
