I have some good news and some bad news. It's almost the end of February which means Spring is just around the corner but that also means that heart month is almost over. If you have a moment make sure to head over to the Heart and Stroke Foundation to donate to heart health research! It's such a great cause, and they do amazing work

It's been a very frigid February around these parts but the highlight has definitely been getting to bust out all my heart printed items and reds for a good cause. This leopard print heart tee was buried in my closet and I was quite happy to see it. I love that it's not pink or red or super girly as most heart printed items usually are. I layered it over my favourite red dress and added my spiked necklace for a bit of sass.

Good Morning loves!! I hope you all had an absolutely amazing Christmas eve/day spent with friends and family. Ours was super chill, just the 4 of us here, skyping my brother in Vancouver on Christmas morning and eating WAY too much Christmas eve. It's always wonderful to spend quality time with the family!

This holiday season was jam packed with Christmas parties with friends/coworkers and that calls for getting all dolled up. It's always nice to a few pieces that are great for dressier occasions. Like this little red dress, I've only worn it once or twice before but it's something that is perfect to dress up. It was my go-to for my annual Christmas party with friends. Since it happened to be freezing cold though, I was to bust out this wonderful plaid coat and my faux fur stole.

Pumping Blood

Good Morning loves, I hope you all had an excellent weekend. Mine was really good, I was able to get some studying done, and even go out a bit! It's really important to balance both, I get a little crazy if I'm just doing school/studying all the time. All work, no play makes Jenna a dull girl...

It's no secret I have a serious affection for the colour red (in fact I'm adding more to my hair just in time for Christmas) so it surprises me I don't have more of it in my wardrobe. But the couple pieces I do have I absolutely love, like this dress. It's a bit on the dressier side, so I don't get to wear it nearly as much as I'd like. This beige lace crop top is also another piece I really like, it's perfect to pair with a skirt or layer over a dress. I've also taken to pairing my heart pendant with my Weekend Society key necklace. Keeping my heart under lock and key you could say ;)

Ketchup and Mustard!

Good Morning Lovelies!! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, mine was really great. We had a great time celebrating my friends birthday, and the Oilers had a fantastic game to finish off the season. I'm obviously dissapointed they didn't make the playoff's but watching them cream Vancouver 7-2 was pretty fantastic. And now I have to wait until June for football season to start!

This is what I wore for a nice long Duke walk on a pretty nice day this past week, most of the snow is melted now and soon the grass is going to start turning green, I'm pretty excited! Since the snow's melting it's definitely rubber boot season, time to splash in puddles! For this walk Mr.Duke and I matched with his red hoodie and my little red dress. This dress is wonderful, it's perfect for a night out, but also worked for a more casual look layered with my denim jacket and moustache scarf! How cute is this print by the way?!

Blazin'

Good Morning Darrrrlings (read as "dawwwling" with a tacky british accent). It's friday & it couldn't come soon enough. This sickness kicked my ass this week, and i am not a pleasant sick person. I am a wee bit whiny and want to be waited on hand and foot, fortunately only Duke was around and he loves me irregardless of my whining. Anyway's now that I no longer feel like I'm dying I'm looking forward to a low key weekend.

So remember that time, maybe a week ago when I finished heart month and was excited to wear colours other then red? Yeah that sure lasted long! I can't help it, red's my colour! Even my bedroom is painted a deliciously devilish shade of crimson. That sure was an evil description of wall paint...Moving on, this blazer I got off Tobi.com a few weeks ago is quickly making its way up the ranks to a "go-to" item. I love the beige leather details along the pockets and that I can cross it over and the fact that it's cropped. This 5'2 frame needs things that are short and cropped!

Hearts In Review

Hey Guys, it's officially March and that means heart month is over!! It was a pretty successful one I'd say, but I am excited to explore the rest of my wardrobe outside of just heart print, pink and red. But I thought I'd look at all my Heart Month looks all in one go!

Follow Your Heart

Hey There loves, it's officially the end of February and the end of Heart month! While I'm sad to see heart month end, I am excited for March because it brings us that much closer to warmer weather. This year's heart month was pretty successful I'd say, at this point I've raided $1300 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation!

So as this is my final heart look, I figured I'd do it up right. My heart print tights and my new favorite dress I ordered off Tobi.com. That website is seriously awesome, I love everything I bought there. I definitely love the fit of this red dress, I think I will be seeing it in heavy rotation this spring/summer.  I decided to pair it with my beige trench, tons of gold jewellery and black. I can't lie, I've already worn this dress a few times and I wish it had come earlier during heart month. I'm so excited to not constrict my wardrobe to pink, red and heart print anymore though!!
