Got my Red Dress on Tonight

Good Morning loves!! I hope you all had an absolutely amazing Christmas eve/day spent with friends and family. Ours was super chill, just the 4 of us here, skyping my brother in Vancouver on Christmas morning and eating WAY too much Christmas eve. It's always wonderful to spend quality time with the family!

This holiday season was jam packed with Christmas parties with friends/coworkers and that calls for getting all dolled up. It's always nice to a few pieces that are great for dressier occasions. Like this little red dress, I've only worn it once or twice before but it's something that is perfect to dress up. It was my go-to for my annual Christmas party with friends. Since it happened to be freezing cold though, I was to bust out this wonderful plaid coat and my faux fur stole.

(Secret) Santa Baby

Good Morning and a very Merry Christmas Eve to you all! I hope everyone has exciting plans with friends and family, that's definitely the part of the holidays I look forward to most, spending time with the Fam and consuming way too much delicious food/drink.
Being part of Flock Together has allowed me to meet some great gals and raid their amazing closets and now it brought me a great Christmas present! We decided to do a Secret Santa gift exchange, which was really fun and I was so happy to receive this gorgeous dress from the fantastic Erica. It's the perfect piece for me, a mix of edgy and feminine! The print is almost animal print/camo but in a fantastic fit in and flare with side cut outs. It's so cool how someone I only know through this blogging world could pick out something so perfectly "me"

Christmas Colours

Good Morning there my darlings! I hope your week has started off on a good note, this is a particularly stressful one for me with several exams but by Friday I'm going to be as free a bird and I get 3 whole weeks off for Christmas. Which will be fantastic, filled with family, friends and FOOD!

Now that it's getting closer to Christmas I am totally in the mood for dressing for Christmas, red/green/white, maybe a reindeer print thrown in there for good measure? I ended up getting this gorgeous sweater from Jcrew a few weeks ago on sale plus another 40% off! I'm so in love with the dark green colour, and hounds tooth pattern, it's incredibly soft and easy to dress up. Add some layered necklaces, a bold red lip, gold jewelry and it's a simple look while still being put together

A Very Mr.Duke Christmas

 

Hello Loves!! I hope your week has been going quite well, with Christmas, boxing day etc. I did not partake in boxing day sales because I was working. And man, working retail on boxing day was nuuuuts! But it was awesome to see so many people shopping local. 

I got this awesome Boston Terrier t shirt (which because I am so short is a dress) from my parents for Christmas and am pretty stoked on it. I am officially that crazy Dog lady,  but with a dog as awesome as Mr. Duke it's understandable. I also got this Iphone case for Christmas too, it's Marc Jacobs and the cutest thing ever. These are some boots I from Auvigne and Jones when we had our Christmas/Tabaggoning party and I needed something really warm because it was -20 out. These definitely did the trip and happen to be quite cute as well.

Dreaming of a White Christmas

Good Morning and Merry Christmas lovelies!! I hope everyone is all set to spend the evening tonight and day tomorrow with loved ones. We're having a laid back one this year, my older brother isn't coming home, so it's just my Mum, Dad, Tyler and I. We'll have a good time and then skype Connor in Christmas day :)

This is what I wore to my friends Christmas party on Saturday. I had something else planned and then when it didn't work out I tore my closet apart. I eventually ended up buying this dress last minute, but I'm pretty happy with it, it has pockets and is super comfy. I actually like the way it looks with a nice thick cardigan and  cozy tights a lot so at least I'll get more wear out of it! Oh and I absolutely froze my tidbits off taking these photos, -25 with the windchill?! NO THANKS

Anyways, I hope everyone has an amazing Christmas spent with family and friends!!

Tis The Season

Good Morning! It's Friday and I am ready for the weekend, I have an awesome Christmas gathering with my friends this Saturday and I am so excited. There's nothing better then getting together with awesome friends, eating great food, drinking and exchanging some gifts. I hope everyone else has some exciting plans for the weekend.
I really love getting dressed up for the holidays, there's something so fun about this time of year. This is something I wore out for a family gathering earlier in the week. Velvet is something perfect for the holidays, because it's cold as hell here and velvet is nice and warm. I paired it with some polka dot tights (which I quickly tore, of course), some high heels and my cozy fur stole. With Mr. Duke as my date I was set for an evening out
