Winter of Mixed Drinks

I absolutely love being part of Flock Together and being able to raid these amazingly stylish girls wardrobes. This dress from Jen came at the perfect time for my best friends Lana Del Ray themed birthday party, it has a cut out in the back and has a great fit and flare shape.

 I loved the way the dark blue, black and maroon looked together. I somehow have no navy in my wardrobe and I now believe that is a grave injustice that needs to corrected ASAP. This dress was actually really hard to send onto the next girl because I fell so hard for it. I went ultra glamour with my high high high heels, Jcrew bling and bold leather jacket for the party. I must say it is awesome to take a break from the everyday and get all dolled up with friends.

And no, I don't have my own personal wind machine, but the wind happened to be working with me this day ;)

What Are You Doing New Years Eve

Good Morning dawwwlings, do you all have fabulous plans for this new years eve?! I am going to my best friends house for a party where we're going to dress up in sparkles and drink some champagne cocktails. I am not a fan of going out for NYE, I have several times in the past and it's just over crowded and expensive!

This is what I plan on wearing for our fancy night in, sometimes it's fun to get all dolled up just to hang out with friends. For some odd reason this top hasn't made it onto this blog even though I got it half off online last boxing day. I knew it would be the perfect bit of glitter to wear for the party and I never pass up an opportunity to wear this sheer mustard number. I added a bit of leather, faux fur for some glamour and edge and I'm all set to welcome in 2014! Now where's my bubbly?!

Got my Red Dress on Tonight

Good Morning loves!! I hope you all had an absolutely amazing Christmas eve/day spent with friends and family. Ours was super chill, just the 4 of us here, skyping my brother in Vancouver on Christmas morning and eating WAY too much Christmas eve. It's always wonderful to spend quality time with the family!

This holiday season was jam packed with Christmas parties with friends/coworkers and that calls for getting all dolled up. It's always nice to a few pieces that are great for dressier occasions. Like this little red dress, I've only worn it once or twice before but it's something that is perfect to dress up. It was my go-to for my annual Christmas party with friends. Since it happened to be freezing cold though, I was to bust out this wonderful plaid coat and my faux fur stole.

Winter Whites

Greeting's my loves from the great white north. And when I say white, I mean snowy! It's absolutely freezing this week too, the high for tomorrow is -25 Celsius...I can't even deal, that's too chilly!! I guess I'll be wearing every pair of tights I own and 18 sweaters just so I don't freeze on the way to school.

The upside to all this snow is how beautiful it looks, it is definitely putting me in the Christmas spirit. I am ready for my finals to be over so I can do some gift shopping and get ready for all the parties coming up. This dress is such a perfect piece for the upcoming holiday season, I love whites for winter (even though I'm a spilly bitch and can never keep them clean) There's something really romantic about this one with the lace sleeves and chiffon bottom. I couldn't help but pair it with my cozy faux fur collar and these suspender tights. And a bold red lip never hurt for the holiday season ;)

Lace Details

Good  Morning my loves!! I hope your week is going along nicely, mines been great!  I had some nice days off spending time with friends and of course, Mr.Duke. We went to Taste of Edmonton last night, which is where a bunch of restaurants around town set up booths in the downtown square and sell items off their menu. It's a really great way to try some different food from places!!
I absolutely adore this maxi skirt and honestly I've probably worn it once a week (probably more) since I purchased it. It's so comfortable and the colour is incredibly versatile. This time around I decided to pair it with this lace back tee from Zara, having it knotted over top feels more summery! And this chevron print envelope clutch is easily becoming my favourite for when I'm going out or don't need a bodycross bag!

Kozmic Blues

Good Morning my loves, I hope you all had a spectacular weekend!! I had a really good one, caught up with lots of friends and Mr. Duke really enjoyed his birthday party. It was technically a Pajama Party, but we decided to get Duke a dog cake, and sang him happy birthday. He really enjoyed it!

I bought this dress last summer and it's still absolutely one of my favourite ones. I love the crazy print, the open back and the fact that it has pockets!! It's actually has a high-low hemline, but I decided to knot it on the side so it was all one length. It's a surprisingly versatile piece, and is so nice when it's hot out. It would be nice if we'd actually get some consistently good weather here, it's been sooo rainy. It's crazy how much flooding is going on in southern Alberta with the, thankfully my friends down there are all safe!!

Biker Babe

Good Morning Loves! I hope you had an absolutely wonderful weekend. Mine was really good, lots of fun spent with good friends! It seems that a lot of my good friends have their birthdays close together, we have more celebrations coming up this weekend. This one is going to be Great Gatsby themed, I'm excited to find a costume! Any ideas??

  This is something I wore out with my friends this weekend, I don't often go to bars or clubs, I am much more a pub girl, so I'm always kind of at a loss at what to wear when we do go out. I knew I wanted to be comfortable though, which is almost always my main goal. This gold skirt with pockets is perfect for that, it's stretchy and the bit of shimmer to it makes it seem less casual. I got this tee from Zara on sale a little while ago, and the lace back detail is perfect for going out, it adds a bit of visual interest and texture to the look.
