Working With What I Got

 photo 4_zps1f13c2e8.jpg
Greetings from under the weather county over here. This sinus cold kicked my butt the first couple days this week, holy cow. And let me just state for the record, I am a giant baby when I'm sick, so sorry for everyone who had to interact with me. Thankfully I feel I'm on the upswing today, I no longer sound like a man so that's probably a good thing.
If it's one thing I love about fashion and blogging, it's coming up with different ways to rework my wardrobe. I am not a millionaire (hell, I'm not even a thousandaire) so being able to wear pieces multiple times is pretty important to me. Which is probably why I am ever so found of my crop tops, they work perfectly with skirts and work wonders when you throw them over a dress. This dress has been such a great piece for me this summer and I'm happy to see it transitioning into the fall as well.

PS. I'm also blogging over at Flock Together today!! Check it out!

I added my heart pendant to my weekend society necklace, they seem like the perfect match

  1. I love remixing things like this too :) That crop top is really pretty. Unfortunately, all my crop tops seem to be an annoying length of just a bit too short, probably because of my larger proportioned bust to the rest of my body! So it means they don't quite work with skirts once it's no longer warm!

  2. That sucks that you were sick - but at least you look super cute. I love remixing things too, shopping your own closet can be super fun.

  3. What a fantastic skirt! I love the print so much, it's edgy and pretty at the same time. I feel like I'm finding more remixable pieces for my closet too and getting rid of the ones that I can't wear in multiple ways, it makes getting dressed so much easier!

    1. It totally does! Having things that are stylish, work well with everything and are "no brainers" is wonderful

    1. I'm better at remixing now than I was before, it was too easy to just keep spending money and buying new things haha.

It's such a great idea to wear crop tops over dresses like that and it also looks very pretty!

  13. Crop tops are the best for remixing! I love your black lace one. It looks great layered over this dress. I really need to put my crop tops to more use. I fully intended on wearing mine over dresses too, but have been slacking.
