Hey there beauties! I hope you're ready for the weekend, I would be ready for it more if the forecast didn't call for snow...I mean, I know it's Alberta, and I know winter's coming. But, I'd really rather it wait until November. At the very least!
I don't actually own anything else white besides a tee. I am ridiculously clumsy, klutzy, accident prone etc, so white has usually been a no-no for me. Seriously it's like a coffee magnet. But I could not say no to this white lace dress, it's versatile, feminine and can be dressed up or down. Although it definitely needs a slip, unless you want everyone looking at your bits (maybe you do?). I added my heart cut out belt in the colour of the season "oxblood", which happened to match my nails. My studded loafers, studded clutch and my spiked ring toughen up this super sweet dress.

I own very few white items, too, specifically because I always make messes, haha. So I totally understand. Also, snow time already?! I guess that's hard for me to imagine since it rarely even snows here at all, but you are further north so it makes sense. Brr.
ReplyDeletewhite is definitely a hard color to buy and wear, but i do love my white blazer! this dress is the perfect winter white! had no idea that tattoo was hiding under there!! love it!

That dress is soooo gorgeous on you— You're so adorable! Love the necklace ;)
ReplyDeleteHaha I'm totally the same way, I really try to limit the number of white items I have in my closet as it's almost a certainty that they'll be destroyed! This piece looks so stunning on you though, so make sure you stay away from wine or coffee with it :). Would love to see this styled into even more winter looks!

That dress is SO stunning, glad you went for it... I'm always so careful when I wear white, haha, me too, so accident prone! xo
ReplyDeleteAt least your dress will match the snow! Ugh I know. It's too soon for this weather.
ReplyDeleteI know just what you mean about white dresses - I always love them. This one is stunning. But... I swear all of my white clothes are ketchup magnets. I don't even eat ketchup. It just leaps on my white clothes! It's worth it sometimes, though, and this dress is definitely one of those times :) Hopefully the snow holds off for you for a few more weeks - fingers crossed!

I am the stain queen probably why I choose to wear such dark colours or wild prints - they hide the accidents better.
ReplyDeleteSnow is such an awful thought - at least the sun is out today!
