Thank you all for all the well wishes about my camera/bunny yesterday! I really appreciate it, it's so nice to have people who feel my pain!!
Anyways these are pictures I took monday, before the accident. I got really sick monday & tuesday, just sore throat etc. But monday to try to feel better, I went shopping with one of my best friends and we ate spicy soup. I love the fit and print of this skirt, it's definitetly one of my favorite ones. And this vintage gingham top I got in victoria is so awesome, and I want to pair it with evvverything. So sometimes you just have to take two of your favorite pieces and wear them together. Even bryce approved of the outfit (which he never does when it involves high waisted skirts, silly boy)
Oh, so it's snowing like a madman outside today, it's disgusting! It looks like all the snow that's melted is coming back...boooo

ReplyDeleteYay for high waisted skirts! I'm glad the bf saw the light... even if only temporarily ;)
ReplyDeleteDo you work next Friday? Maybe we could shop/snap photos then! xx

This outfit is beautiful! I love that red coat. I'm glad you are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your camera and bunny. That seriously sucks! But at least you look adorable. The skirt is great, I can see why it's one of your favorites. And l love the pop of color with your red jacket. Cute!
ReplyDeleteXOXO
love your gingham top and red coat, such a cute simple outfit :) xo
ReplyDeleteAww thank you so much lovelies!!
ReplyDelete@ Vickie, I work 1-5! We could go beforehand if you're free, send me an email :)
i love your hair!! this outfit is seriously perfect. i love it so much especially with that red jacket! the color is amazing.
ReplyDeleteI love how you styled the whole outfit; it looks effortlessly chic!
ReplyDeleteI also love the neon orange nail polish which is always a winner in my book:)
Ack, SO sorry to hear about your camera. I too would be devastated/potentially crying if that happened to me. I definitely feel your pain!! And as for lenses? I actually use the 50 mm fixed lens for all of my outfit photos -and LOVE it! Super sharp & creates nice blur on the background/depth of field. But the camera sits further away so you would need a remote, it's harder to run back and forth.
ReplyDeleteAs for your outfit? Adorable, lovely mix of prints...which I'm a total sucker for. And that skirt does have a fabulous fit!! Happy Friday. xx veronika
i love this outfit! so audrey hepburn esque! =)

I love that you mentionned how Bryce doesn't usually approve of high-waisted skirts :) My husband is the same about any skirt that falls below the knee... I think if he had his way, I'd always be wearing skin-tight mini dresses ;) You look adorable here, though, so I can see why you got the approval- I just love your red trench and that vintage top is too cute. Hope you're feeling better!
ReplyDeletexox,
Cee
Thanks everybody!!! I love all you sweet comments :):)
ReplyDelete@ Veronika, the only remotes they make for canon 50D have a wire attached from camera to remote...SO dumb. I really want a 50mm lens though, hmm
@ Cee, hahaha I think if most men had their way we'd all be running around in skin tight apparel that showed a lot of T & A. My man doesn't like shoes with platforms for some reason?...hes weird. How does he even know what a platform is???

That skirt is really cute!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I'm so sorry about your camera and your bunny! that is some serious bullshit. I hope everything is shaping up okay.
ReplyDeleteI do LOVE this outfit though! The greatest colors and such an unexpected print combo that still somehow seems simple and natural.
Take care! xoxo
Before the accident - ah, still so sad!! This is a great look though!
