Handcuffs Required Hello there, it's been a very busy weekend for me, which all started thursday night with the wonderful fashion show on whyte ave! I had never been to anything like that and it was actually really exciting and fun. Besides I got to meet other bloggers for the first time ever, and they were the sweetest ladies ever!! It was so funny, because I felt like I already knew them from seeing their posts. It was a lot of fun, and I was really impressed with some of our local talent. The girl who won the emerging talent contest was 15. 15?! At 15, my sense of style was ripped denim and tshirts. Not so stylish.
It was a lot of fun, and we got to sit front row too. I wanted to wear something really simple, colourful and comfortable. This dress was perfect for that, my sore throat was back so I felt comfortable and cute. A continuation of calling spring to me!! Colours! The outfit:
dress-F21, Tights-H&M, Clutch-Thrifted, Blazer- Urban outfitters, Shoes-Winners
Winners of the goodwill competition, they got $75 to spend at goodwill and create a look. I loved their colourblocking!!
The emerging fashion desginer winner 15 year old Andrea de Ocampo!
The bloggers:
Janelle and I both realizing we're both wearing gray shoes
Vickie and Marie
That is so awesome you got to sit in the front row! what fun! and i love the dress you wore. the colors are beautiful.

FANTASTIC photos, Jenna! Unfortunately the photos I have of the four of us did not turn out as well : ( And I have to say you looked so cute in your dress! Will you be coming to anymore shows? Hope to see you again soon! It was great meeting you and Janelle.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are adorable!! Looks like a blast!!! xoxo
ReplyDeletethis looks like such a fun event, and you look fabulous! i love that dress :)
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it just blow you away how preternaturally talented some girls are? It seems to me fashionistas just keep getting younger... When I was fifteen, I would wear anything as long as it was pink. Not exactly stylish :P But I like to think I've come a long way, and you obviously have, too, since you're one of the most stylish girls I know. Seriously. I am absolutely in love with your dress- the shade of blue is so vibrant!- and your shoes are fabulous, too! The toe cap! So adorable :)

Your thrifted clutch is so awesome. I love the colour, it seems so perfect for summer days! I am so jealous of this 15 yr old designer and pretty much want her life!
ReplyDeleteWow, looks like an amazing time!! And 15 years old??! If only I'd known I'd wanted to do this at 15!
ReplyDeleteI'm so skeptical of all things edmonton but it looks like you guys had some serious fun! I'm sad I was working all weekend! :(
