Newfound Bliss

 photo maxi3_zps3e51bcaa.jpg
Good Morning m'loves, I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!! Mine was great, I went out a bit, relaxed a lot and spent a wonderful Sunday with some of my best friends taking in some of the films at the Edmonton International Film Festival, which were all amazing.
I wore this for the fashion show on Wednesday evening, I knew I had to wear this Maxi I bought from Decadence before the weather got too cold to show off it's fantastic back. I fell in love with it months ago but finally decided to give in and get it, the combination of the low back, the pockets and the fact that it's comfortable was my bliss point. As I get older I definitely am more accepting of my body, and this dress makes me really happy to be small chested. I can get away with so many more things than my big chested friends; sorry ladies ;)
Also, this sun setting earlier and earlier thing is getting on my nerves...

Pretty Kitty

 photo cats5_zpsa3d33357.jpg
Oh hello there! Fancy meeting you here. This was my outfit for the wedding I attended on the weekend, I was humming and hawing over what to wear. But when I spotted this cat print dress at H&M when I went in there on a whim I could not resist! Now I'm not really a cat person, mostly because I'm allergic but I do love me a funky print.
But honestly, if they didn't have whisker's, they'd look like little Duke wouldn't they?! This black and white dress is the perfect thing for lots of pops of colours, like my neon nails, green clutch and coral heels. I don't often wear heels, but when I do I guess I like them sky high. I felt so tall! It's always a  whole new perspective ;)

Transition Season

 photo florals2_zps08d0728f.jpg
Hey There loves, I hope your week is coming along quite nicely! I am pleased to report the temperature here has gotten above zero, which means snow is melting and long Duke walks are increasing in length and frequency!! Mr. Duke is quite pleased about this weather, except that it means he is one super dirty pup.
As the weather gets better, I am clearing out my closet of winter things and bringing in spring and summer pieces. It's always super exciting to switch seasons in the wardrobe, after months of brown and black and neutrals I am so excited to infuse some colour into my life! I picked up this dress last year from H&M and still love it. It's got a rorschach-like print which the Psychology major in me loves. It's a great simple summer dress for those days when it's nice and hot, but layered with tights, boots and my favourite blazer it works well for the transitional season as well. I couldn't resist pairing it with my bright green thrift clutch for a pop of colour
