Good Morning my loves, I hope you all had a lovely weekend and were able to stay warm. It was FRIGID as all hell here, hell basically froze over. I stay bundled and in doors all weekend, but am happy to say the temperature is on the rise. And also that these pictures were taken on much nicer days.
I have been looking for a decent, comfy baseball tee for MONTHS. It's such a perfect basic piece to wear casually or dress up a bit. I finally found this one at H&M over Christmas and knew I had to snatch it up, and it paired perfectly with this maxi skirt I got from American Apparel. I've been swooning over this chiffon skirt since my birthday back in August and was over the moon when I was able to get it with a gift card.
Mr.Duke was looking way too handsome in his Christmas present from mom and dad not to be photographed. What a character, this guy!

You're such a pro at mixing casual and dressy effortlessly, Jenna. It definitely makes me want to take more cues from you and do the same! I'm just a tiny bit obsessed with this necklace, and even more so paired with this baseball tee. And Mr. Duke is looking mighty handsome, I might add :)
ReplyDeleteThank you darling!! Isn't it a great necklace? My friend got it for me for secret santa this year, what a beaut!
DeleteMr.Duke is just such a ham for the camera :)
Don't you love finally finding that piece you've been on the look out for?
ReplyDeleteHope it warms up for you and loving the maxi looks.
Love the necklace Jenna and of course Duke ; ) The weather yesterday was stupid. Thank God it's warmer today.
ReplyDeleteoh i love that baseball shirt!!! i have been wanting one for ages!! and your skirt is gorgeous that is my absolute favourite colour right now :)
ReplyDeletelove baseball tees too! I still dream of the one I had from college (but no longer own). It was the best one I had yet. The ones I've had since are fine but haven't compared to that one I had from college. Haha...funny.

The combination of baseball tee and statement necklace is ingenious! I just love the contrast of something super casual with a fancier piece. I'm always impressed by the cold temperatures you face to take your outfit photos - you are a brave lady! With an adorable dog, I might add ;)

Thank you! I have been obsessed with mixing casual and dressy lately.
DeleteThanks! I guess I'm acclimatized to it, -10 is a nice day for photos here in the winter haha
You never fail to put together the best outfits with your maxi skirts! I wouldn't EVER think to put these types of pieces together, but it totally works.
ReplyDeleteThe other day, I was out shooting for my blog (without a jacket) and was FREEZING and actually thought of how you shoot in short sleeves at this time of year....and that helped me push through the pain of the cold because I didn't want to be a total Torontonian wuss :)
