I am sure it is no surprise to anyone that my favourite colour is red. It's even the colour of my room (and let me tell you, that took several coats of paint), so it's crazy to me that I don't incorporate it more in my wardrobe. I mean, I wear it everyday right now with my hair, but I own surprisingly few red pieces, but I've taken to rectify this grave injustice.
My dad actually got me this scarf for Christmas and it is now my go to. Not only is it my favourite hue (bought for me by Hugh!) but it's incredibly soft and cozy. Perfect to bundle up and add some colour to ensembles such as this one. I have the tendency to lean towards more neutrals in the winter, but that makes it a good backdrop for pieces such as this scarf and this neon purse.

I'm glad to hear you're taking steps to rectify the lack of red in your wardrobe because seriously, it just suits you so well. But then again, a little red goes a long way - I love the touches of it from your hair and scarf paired with black and gray in this look.
