Hey There loves, I hope your week is coming along quite nicely! I am pleased to report the temperature here has gotten above zero, which means snow is melting and long Duke walks are increasing in length and frequency!! Mr. Duke is quite pleased about this weather, except that it means he is one super dirty pup.
As the weather gets better, I am clearing out my closet of winter things and bringing in spring and summer pieces. It's always super exciting to switch seasons in the wardrobe, after months of brown and black and neutrals I am so excited to infuse some colour into my life! I picked up this dress last year from H&M and still love it. It's got a rorschach-like print which the Psychology major in me loves. It's a great simple summer dress for those days when it's nice and hot, but layered with tights, boots and my favourite blazer it works well for the transitional season as well. I couldn't resist pairing it with my bright green thrift clutch for a pop of colour

Your dress is so cute! I'm definitely loving the print. And seriously, you find the best pieces at Tobi! I've had nothing but bad luck with them... I really do love that jacket though. I can't wait to see your warmer weather outfits ♥

I love the cool print on your dress and the pretty pop of color from your clutch. I'm glad it's finally starting to get a little warmer for you! It's like summer in Georgia right now. Why isn't there a happy medium temperature for the both of us?!
ReplyDeleteI love the print on this dress and your rings always look like weapons!
ReplyDeletePeople don't mess with me because of them :)
DeleteI love that dress!!! Seriously so cute, and I love how you made it work for colder weather as well. Not that you don't always look incredible, but have you gotten in even more amazing shape lately? You're looking particularly great here!

Very cute, especially the jacket.
ReplyDeleteOh spring time always means puppy bath time! It's an ordeal! Do you bathe Mr Duke yourself? Or take him to the gromer?
ReplyDeleteI love the butterfly dress! And that jacket is always so great with everything.
Ohh I do it myself, he's small enough that it's not too bad. He reallllly hates it though
DeleteThis dress is so pretty, are those butterflies? I've been on the hunt for cute butterfly print clothing! Obsessed. And you thrifted that gorgeous clutch? Awesome find!! Glad to hear it's above a bitter cold 0 degrees there!

Hurray for temperatures above zero! When it comes to spring in Canada, it's all about the little things :) And this outfit just screams spring to me - the print on your dress is so cute and putting the clutch next to it really makes it pop!

PS: Imagining Duke all dirty from playing in the slush is such a cute and hilarious mental image!
I agree - there is nothing more exciting about spring then switching your closet over to all the pretty sundresses and sandals and so on :-)
ReplyDeleteThe print on this dress is awesome! I really love the little turquoise bag with it too - it really pops against the print. Have a a lovely weekend Jenna!
