Why hello there!! I finished my finals monday and went out celebrating and had a bit too much to drink. So yesterday I was pretty worse for wear haha, that final pint put me over! But I am getting so excited for Christmas in 5 days, my older brother is home and it's exciting :)
This is my outfit from the Christmas party saturday night. I made an extreme effort not to purchase anything new for this year. I usually do and then it's something I rarely end up wearing again and I don't want clothes that I can only wear once a year. I need things that are versatile! I ended up choosing my ruffly gold skirt which I of course love. I wore my backless onesie again, showing off the ol' battle wound.
It was such a fun night, I love the big gatherings we always have. And my secret santa got me a beautiful necklace(pictures at the end)
ps. Sorry the awkwardness of bathroom photos, it was dark out!

So pretty Jenna, you look amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the hangover but a stiff drink (or 10) is always in order when the term ends! And I love your party outfit - that AA bodysuit is fantastic!

at least your bathroom is cute! Although I'm not typically a fan of tiered ruffles I adore the wave-like texture of this skirt. The color is lovely as well. Oh and that necklace, so amazing. Your secret santa did an incredible job.
ReplyDeletelovely holiday outfit! that skirt is always great. i got my christmas dress at goodwill for $5, so i think that's reasonable ;) although i do have this tiered red dress from h&m that i really want to wear on nye with my new gold heels but the party i'm going to will probably be pretty casual... i hate it when i buy fun festive clothes and have nowhere to wear them!
ReplyDeleteI can totally see you getting some seriously mileage out of that skirt, that's for sure. And I love the whole look--you have me wondering if I need a backless onesie in my life, now...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful outfit, love the low back on the shirt! And you should know I'm a big Wayne's World lover, haha my brother and I have the whole thing memorized. Loving the title. Congrats on wrapping up everything love, enjoy your time off now!

Cute party look. That skirt is a great color.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great going-out outfit! I love the polka dot tights, your ruffled skirt, and that awesome backless body suit. I really like how the top shows off your cool scar. I'd never have thought of pairing yellow with those tights either so thanks for the idea!
ReplyDeleteoh i just love your backless bodysuit it is awesome!!! and the ruffled skirt is adorable, the colour is so great :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool secret santa, usually you end up with junk!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that mustard skirt, it's great with that leotard xo
You look so beautiful! I adore the skirt with the backless onesie. It's ok, we all have a little too much sometimes - it's acceptable, especially when you've been working so hard! xx
ReplyDeleteOoh so pretty darling!! I love the combo of the backless onesie with the ruffled skirt! I have been the same way this whole year...really only purchasing stuff I need or secondhand. It's unbelievable the $ you save in doing so. Gorgeous as always!!
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is just so pretty, love the color and the ruffles, I think it was a perfect choice for a holiday party!

You look pretty. Cute skirt and also love your nailpolish. The jewelries are cool as well.;)
ReplyDeleteLOVE your outfit (of course...) and your new necklace is adorable. Your friend did a great job picking it out. Good job on creating a cute party outfit from stuff you already own. I have a wedding in February and I'm already thinking, "OOOH! That means I get to buy a new dress!" but I'm not going to. No. I'm going to make something work that I already own. And I'm going to like it, goddamnit.
ReplyDeletefab! excellent outfit indeed! great work with closet - this outfit looks like you purchased it for the party
