Cowboys and printed skirts

Photobucket
Hello there. It’s been pissing rain here the past 3 days, and I am really rather unimpressed. I was really hoping it would be very nice for this last week before surgery; I had so many outfits planned for hot days. But this is one of the skirts I bought on my vintage extravaganza on Whyte ave Monday. For me there’s just something about a good print that always seems to catch my eye, no matter what. I think it’s like some sort addiction I think?

This print is cowboys! On horses! In the desert! As soon as I saw this print, I was pretty much in love. And the fit of it is really quite wonderful as well. It looks like its home made too, very sweet. I decided I didn’t want my top competing for attention with this skirts wonderful print. And since it was rainy and cold the day before yesterday I had to layer up. Luckily it stopped raining in the evening long enough for me to take these! Today seems like the rain might hold off long enough to take pictures. I have a few outfits so far saved up for post surgery.

  8. Cowboys? On horses? In the desert? Not going to lie, this is not a skirt that would have caught my eye... and even if it had, I would never have thought I could pull it off. But on you, it look amazing! You clearly have a knack for thrifting. And the red cardigan looks like it was made to go with it :) Hopefully you'll get a few days of warm weather before your surgery!

  16. I adore your skirt! The print is amazingly unique and awesome. The belted cardigan looks really nice with it and picks up the red colors in the skirt (but I'm sure you knew that already!)
