Runnin for home

Photobucket
It was my mums birthday this weekend and we celebrated twice! My dad, and I took her out for dinner friday night and then on sunday it was bryce, me, my dad, my mum and brother who all went out to a resteraunt called "the melting pot". It's a fondue place here in Edmonton and it's soo good.
So we all got gussied up for a night out! Bryce took these pictures really quickly on my driveway, hence my awkward face in some of them haha, he makes silly comments when he's behind the camera. I wish we had had a bit more time, but that's okay.
I wore my pretty red dress from UO that I broke my shopping ban for back in march. It's so silky and floaty, I love it. And since I snagged this gray vest at the swap I belted it with the dress. I want to wear it with everything, it's really soft and I'm so glad I spotted it. And this gave me a chance to wear my new shoes, half off with my discount @ payless. They're suprisingly comfortable!

  5. Wow, you look soo good in red, though you obviously don't need me to tell you that since you already wear it a lot. :) But really, looks great on you! The dress is definitely worth breaking a shopping ban for. :)

I have a pair of oxfords from Payless that cost me $20 and they are seriously one of the most comfortable shoes I own. If I ever have to go somewhere that I know I'll be walking a lot but still want to look cute, I always wear those ones. Cheap doesn't always have to mean uncomfortable... I love the ones you are wearing!

  9. I had no idea there was a Melting Pot in Edmonton! I used to love it when I lived in Winnipeg, but I haven't been there for years. Luckily, we have an excellent fondue place in Vancouver called Au Petit Chavingol... But your mention of the Melting Pot brought back memories for sure :) Love those little boots of yours, and this dress is so, so pretty; definitely worth breaking a shopping ban for!

@ Daily fashionista, we do celebrate mothers day next week too. So my mum kind of gets the two rolled up in one. A mani and pedi, some gardening stuff and flowers :)
