You've got the love

Photobucket
Hello there! As many of you know, my camera lens got murdered by my tripod last week and I am without my child for 4-6 weeks. But my very sweet father brought his work camera home this week for me to use when he does not need it! It is an olympus E-330 so it's not tooo bad. It's the same camera I had before I upgraded to my Canon D50. I still miss my canon but it's nice to know I have something I can use every now and then :)
I wore this to work earlier in the week, I really liked this look! I felt very comfortable in it. I bought this denim top from H&M last week and I want to wear it with everrrything, it's so soft. And this skirt is something I thrifted a few weeks, and just recently hemmed. It was a weird awkward length on me and looked super frumpy. But I cut it and now I really love the way it looks. I couldn't not buy it because the print is awesome, it buttons all the way up the front and it was a whole $5. AND it has pockets.
When I came home from work my mom was super excited about my outfit which I thought was super cute. She loves the skirt and was so impressed I thrifted and then hemmed it. What a funny lady.
Last week when I was without a camera every single outfit I put together worked really well but I couldn't photograph it! Now that I have some sort of photographing device I can't seem to put two pieces together. So I am going to go play in my closet, get inspired by blogs and then go off to work!

PS. Photo quality is a bit less now, going from 15 Megapixels to 8 kinda hurts my feelings.

  4. Ohh I love this combination! That denim shirt is awesome, and the floral skirt is too good. Great job cutting and hemming it, you definitely made it work! And the orangey-coral (?) nailpolish looks awesome next to it all!
Now I kind of want to go see if the denim shirt I was eyeing at the shop I work at is still there... fingers crossed!!
