Flavors of Ice Cream

Photobucket
Good morning, today is family day in Alberta, so I have the day off work! Which is good because last week I worked monday-saturday. I'm not complaining, I need the money for Victoria in....5 DAYS. I've started planning outfits and am putting lists together. I am really looking forward to it. I'm in dire need of spring, because it was -20 here for the past 4 day.

This is actually what I wore to work on saturday and then out to my Aunt's 60th birthday party (oh yeah, I'm so cool partying with the 60 year olds). It was actually really fun. They let my 16 year old brother be the bartender and he ended up drinking so much he was wrapped around the toliet by 11pm. Ahhh to be young again! Do you remember your first drunken experience?!

I'm wearing my romper that I bought a few weeks ago as a top, I can't wait for it to be nice and hot and wear it. I am wearing 2 pairs of tights, 2 cardigans and for good measure 2 necklaces. I bought these mint coloured shoes on friday, they had been calling my name all week. Mint! Vanilla! Strawberry! I based this outfit off flavors of ice cream obviously. Also, I love this "grandma" sweater I thrifted last weekend, I want to wear it always. As much as I love this outfit, having to pee while wearing it was tricky. 2 tights, a skirt, and a romper! Nice visual huh?

  11. Looks like quite the party, and I love your ice-cream inspired look :) Those green flats are particularly adorable. I'm not much of a mint green girl myself, but you might just have convinced me to give it a try.

  14. Great idea wearing the romper under the skirt! At least the skirt zipper may make it easier for bathroom trips...? Haha!
I definitely remember my first drinking experience... but barely! It was outside in the winter, right around this time of year ;)
I saw those shoes yesterday! I wanted to go in and try them on, but we were in a rush. They're SO awesome!
