This is my outfit from earlier in the week when it got up to a toasty warm +5 degrees celcius! Before I went to work I definatly took some time to enjoy the outdoors and the warm sun. Made it feel like spring! Except that the snow in a lot of places is still up to my knees... haha!

I wore the dress Bryce's mom bought me and put a skirt over top of it, because the length isn't really "work appropriate" I suppose. Also, you can see my bra through the top, so I added a black tshirt underneath before work. It's a cute, fun outfit with some colour and pattern which was perfect for a warm "springish" day. I am getting so anxious for warmer weather for some reason. I've been having one of those weeks where I feel like I don't own any good clothes, and anything I put together I'm not super happy with. I hate when that happens!! Although this outfit I really did like. I just have to make sure I don't buy anything quite yet, I'm only going to buy some spring pieces for my trip to victoria in 3 1/2 weeks!
Happy Weekend

I actually wore flats with this outfit, but not for pictures because of the snow!

Girl! You have dedication to continue taking these pics in 1 foot of snow:) You look adorable in your outfit.
ReplyDeleteThose tiger striped tights are so cool!!
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling the same way. I'm just waiting and waiting until I don't have to try to find a blazer that fits well with the dress I'm wearing. I want it to be hot enough that I can just throw on the dress and sandals!! I love the pattern of the dress she bought you, and I really think it suits as a top. This is one of my fav color combinations you've worn, espeically with the funky tights. Have fun in Victoria :)
ReplyDeleteWow the snow is still so high at your place! I'd love to have some snow again here but I can understand that you're tired of it.
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is superpretty! I love the turquoise of the skirt, so nice ans shiny and chic! Looks great with the dress resp. shirt! And oh the tights, I'm in love, they're pure awesomeness! :)

I can't believe you were leaping around in the snow in this outfit! You brave Canadian girl :) I love the way you've layered this dress with a skirt overtop, and the colour/pattern combination is fabulous.
