Winter Wonderland Shots

Here are some shots that I've taken over the past week or two of the snowy scenes surrounding my house. There is always something so beautiful about winter scenes with snow and frost. It definatly helps me appreciate winter on those really chilly days

Hope you all are staying warm and getting into the holiday spirit!! I am drinking a Gingerbread latte as I type this (decaf of course) and we put up our christmas tree last night. I am so looking forward to chirstmas :)

Snow Day

Here are some photos from my frosty adventure on friday before I froze my beehind off!! I hope everyone had an excellent weekend, I know I did. I relaxed, did homework, worked out, hung out with the boyfriend and friends. It was really good! It snowed allll day here again today, so we're looking at another inch or so. Its supposed to warm up to -5 by thursday though! That will feel sooo warm

Fall

Things I love about Fall

crisp air, the colours of the leaves, that crunchy noise beneath your feet when you're walking over them, pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin carving, Halloween (& costumes), Getting to wear layers, busting out my winter coats, Back to school shopping, Getting that much closer to christmas, Busting out my tights! So many tights!, long sleeve shirts, Wearing boots, big fuzzy socks, dark rich colours, gloves, thanksgiving, Turkeys, When you walk outside and you can see your breath, scarfs, being on campus in the fall = beauty

Earth Tones

As I said before, I had some earthy nature shots to upload, and my it took me way too long. Check out my flickr www.flickr.com/jennadonovan I love really earth tones, and nature shots, they're fun to take and sometimes a little more tricky than one would have imagined. I really like the way these ones turned out, I havn't been keeping up with photography lately. Lack of inspiration? Motivation? Lack of time? Who knows, but I really want to be doing it more, getting better and such. Anyways it's the long weekend, I get to relax!!!

Nostalgia

So this photo is from last summer when my family and I went to Greece. It was absolutly undoubtably the best trip of my life and I would go back there in a heartbeat. It was very warm that day and we were walking around a lot and going to the Acropolis and visiting some museums so I wore these comfy gladiator sandels (when in greece right?). And this awesome tshirt dress I bought for about 10 bucks, which is so comfy and I love it. The bag was very "beachy" which was perfect for Greece because we did see a lot of beaches. That Starbucks was right across from our hotel the FIRST day we were there and I took the photo for my friend who works there. Anyways I thought I'd post some of these while I was being nostalgic, and I plan on uploading some of awesome photographs I took of the amazing landscapes out there pretty soon!
