Some Things Change

Hey There! I hope I didn't shock you too much when I showed up wearing pants in your feed this morning. It's true, I do not wear pants often, it's not that I don't like them. I do, I just find that with pants they have to fit perfectly or else they're uncomfortable or look terrible. I also have a hard time finding tops I like with jeans, I have a short torso, so things get weird.
Besides when it's summer and it's warm out my legs want freedom!!! But on a milder day I decided I couldn't resist the siren call of these bright pink pants. The colour is perfect for summer and with this thin, cotton, snake print tank top it was a comfortable combination. Throw a blazer on it and I was set for work! I actually really liked this combination, so there's a good chance you could be seeing me in more pants in the future ;)

Kiss me, I'm Irish

Goood Morning loves! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and celebrated the Irish holiday by drinking some green beer or some whiskey. As an Irish girl (with the temper to prove it) I have a soft spot for ol' St. Patty's day. I didn't really do much this year, no mischief to be had, but having a beer and wearing green always makes me feel festive.

I got this green cat printed dress from H&M last summer and knew it would be the perfect shade for St. P's day. I decided to pair it with this awesome blazer and mostly black. I love this shade of green and am pretty happy it's supposed to be "on trend" for spring/summer 2013. Its definitely the right shade for a pale skinned, (faux) ginger irish gal like myself :)

As you can see we got MORE snow, and it appears that spring is going to take her sweet ass time coming here. It's a bit depressing as I am so over winter but at least I get to hit the coast for a few days next week!
