Good Morning my loves, today is a holiday so I'm spending my day relaxing, walking the Duke and then I have soccer later. It's been a really wonderful weekend, my cold seems to be going away and I'm on the mend!
These are the photos from the shoot I did with Vickie for festival style for the Edmonton newspaper! This maxi dress is the best investment I've made all summer, it feels like wearing pajamas and can easily be dressed up and down. Festival style to me is very bohemian, free spirited and comfortable. I decided to pair my maxi with this studded denim vest for a bit of edge and my floral headcrown to continue the boho/flower child vibe. A crossover bag is definitely a must for festival style so you can carry everything you need and not worry about it ;)

ReplyDeleteThis outfit definitely screams festival to me! That maxi dress is definitely a great find. I've been on the hunt for one too, but anything I've tried on so far is so long that it drags on the ground.

How beautiful! I so agree with your take on festival style. I always wear crossbody bags and comfy, flowy clothing when I go to festivals. This dress is a dream with it's pleating and the gray color makes it so versatile I'm sure. Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit! The floral crown is so cute on you!
ReplyDeleteHey Jenna, what music festival did you/are you going to? A Maxi with pleats, imagine that! I love it. So I got really close to buying some flowers to make a crown the other day...but I'm just not sure how to make it look cute/flower child-y and not crazy lady! This one looks great in your hair especially!
