Good Morning loves!! I hope everyone had a fantastic and relaxing weekend! Mine was alright, we got absolutely POURED on at the football game on Saturday night, oh mother nature, such a cruel mistress.
I have been obsessing over galaxy printed dresses/tops/skirts for a few months now so I was super happy to try out this gorgeous number from Midwest Muse. I love that I can try out different pieces from the amazing Flock Together gals! This skirt is really wonderful, I am sometimes apprehensive about the high-low trend, but it really works with this piece. And the print is to die for obviously! I paired it with my denim studded vest, and a black camisole because the skirt is the main attraction here.
Check out all the ways Jessica has styled this piece here

ReplyDeleteI literally have pined for her skirt for months and finaly gave in and bought it for myself! I actually just did a post with it as it arrived at the weekend. :D
ReplyDeleteI like how you've given it a really American look with the denim and the turquoise accessories, I tried to make mine all British-tea time in the sun. It's such a great skirt isnt it?
I love that you went out and bought it! I've done that before after seeing other bloggers looks
DeleteI love it with the black tank because it makes it look like an awesome tank dress!! Jessica's skirt looks amazing on you and as usual, your awesome accessorizing makes the outfit!

ReplyDeleteI love this skirt, it's so unique and pretty!
Have a great day,

Swapping clothes really is the best - it allows you to try styles you're not quite sure about without actually committing to them financially. Although personally, I think galaxy print totally suits you and your style, and the high-low hem does, too :)

This skirt looks amazing on you and I love it with a vest! I wore it with one recently and it made me feel like it was meant to be. I actually hate hi-lo and am always considering choppin' it off, but every once and awhile it works really well.
ReplyDeleteWhoa- I LOVE how you styled this skirt Jenna! Makes me want to borrow it from Jessica again :-). I think this is the only skirt I've ever seen the hi low trend work great on. You look gorgeous lady!

I was tot. not into the high lo thing, until that is I saw this skirt of Jessica's too! I LOVE your pairing w/ the vest, such a good layer that looks cute but not frumpy (my prob is cardis, etc. so easily look frumpy w/ skirts/dresses on me, if that makes sense). rain sounds glorious too! but i guess you get plenty there.

Galaxy skirt! It definitely suits your style perfectly. I love how it looks paired with a denim vest. This makes me wish I had a denim vest so I could wear mine like this!
