Goood Morning loves! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and celebrated the Irish holiday by drinking some green beer or some whiskey. As an Irish girl (with the temper to prove it) I have a soft spot for ol' St. Patty's day. I didn't really do much this year, no mischief to be had, but having a beer and wearing green always makes me feel festive.
I got this green cat printed dress from H&M last summer and knew it would be the perfect shade for St. P's day. I decided to pair it with this awesome blazer and mostly black. I love this shade of green and am pretty happy it's supposed to be "on trend" for spring/summer 2013. Its definitely the right shade for a pale skinned, (faux) ginger irish gal like myself :)
As you can see we got MORE snow, and it appears that spring is going to take her sweet ass time coming here. It's a bit depressing as I am so over winter but at least I get to hit the coast for a few days next week!

ReplyDeleteI totally love that dress - it's beyond cute and green looks perfect on you! I stayed in all weekend to grade papers and wish to God I had been drinking green beer while I was doing it.

EVERYTHING WITH ANIMALS. All of the time. YAY Cat print! Yay green! I love this.
ReplyDeleteI totally didn't photography my St Patrick's Day outfit, but I am okay with that! This kind of makes me wish I had a bit though
This is my favourite comment of all time, I agree EVERYTHING SHOULD HAVE ANIMAL PRINT.
DeleteCATS. Haha, love it. Glad you had a good weekend! On Saturday we went to Cask and Barrel and I instagramed a pic of my Crown float and tagged it #caskandbarrel, then randomly decided to check the other photos with the same tag and who should appear but your lovely self. Haha, my first thought is JENNA WAS HERE AT MY REGULAR PUB AND I NEVER SAW HER -- FAIL. We should have a drink some time!
ReplyDeleteI looooove cask and barrel!! That's so funny! We definitely should have a pint there sometime :D
DeleteHow did I miss this dress at H&M?!?! I'm so in love with it; you seriously have the best dress collection. And accessories. But you already knew I thought that.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet - love the print of your dress!

This shade of green looks awesome on you! It's definitely perfect for St. Patrick's day! I had a beer and relaxed and wore green on Sunday too, which is the best way to celebrate I think!
ReplyDeleteA great St. Paddy's Day outfit! I didn't know you were Irish!
ReplyDeleteA very holiday-appropriate shade of green indeed- and one that makes you skin look fantastic too.
ReplyDeleteSo cute, you look so pretty in green! Love that big ring, too

Your dress looks so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteYou look so lovely, the dress is perfect for St Paddy's!! Cute styling with the blazer and jewelry! <3
ReplyDeleteI'm not Irish (unfortunately!) - but I love Ireland since my first trip there, so of course I spent Sunday night at an Irish pub drinking a pint of Magners! :)
What a cute dress - it really is the perfect shade for Saint Patrick's Day! If you hadn't said the print was cats, I probably would have thought it was shamrocks :) Pairing it with all black really lets the green pop. We don't do Saint Patrick's Day here in France, so I'm looking forward to Easter - chocolate eggs are already popping up everywhere!

Oh my goodness, the print on that dress!!!! Gah! How cute are you Jenna! This is the most perfect St. Patty's outfit I've seen around. I don't think I've ever really celebrated St. Pat's day as I am Italian and where we live they actually have a St. Ubaldo's Day which is very similar :-) (Though, I really should start...it always looks like so much fun).
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring lady! xo Marisa
