Hello Lovelies! I hope your weekends were absolutely wonderful, the weather here has been spectacular for this time of year, its apparently going to get chillier this week but colder weather means tights, sweaters and scarves. How in the world is it already October?! I am so excited for pumpkin carving, going to the corn maze and other fall activities though!
Fall is my favourite time of year for fashion by far, I feel way more inspired than the summertime where I just want easy breezy outfits. I love the colours of fall and I definitely enjoy dressing a bit "darker" I'd say. This outfit really brought me back to my roots of being a punk rock/metal girl in High School. Lace? Plaid? Yes please! But this time around I kept things simple, cleaner and with about 10lbs less eyeshadow that I did back in the day. I absolutely LOVE this skirt, it snaps up the side to do up, is fully lined AND has pockets?! Another amazing NY find.

Ha ha Anton cracks me up! I love the lace on you, and all of your accessories, you look hot! Fall is one of my favorite times of the year although I don't like that it leads to winter : (
ReplyDeletehaha, 10lbs less of eyeshadow, huh?! :) Well, this look is super cute. I love how the bright yellow pops against your outfit... and that plaid skirt is adorable. I recently acquired a plaid skirt and this gave me an idea of how to style it. <3
ReplyDeleteyour friends look hilarious! love your outfit, the bright yellow bag really pops out! xo
ReplyDeletetotes loving the lace and plaid combo! and that purse? lovely!!!

I am obsessed with what looks to be the collect bat ring ever that you are wearing. And also with the skirt (I'm on such a plaid kick lately...which seems to happen to me every fall).

I think you and I used to dress pretty similarly. The only time in my life that I've applied makeup to my face (outside of colorguard performances) was to put way too much dark eyeshadow around my eyes in high school. And I wore mostly black, hehe. ANYway, I like the mixture of textures you've got going on here, lady. (:
ReplyDeleteI'm loving this look! especially those heels.. are those recent? they are awesome!

Your friends are too funny, I love the model poses :)
ReplyDeleteThat is such a great skirt, I love the cut & the print xo
Oh so funny - both your friends and also that you were a punk girl in high school ... so was I! I wore really awful looking things like plaid zipper knee-d pants and arm socks...ick, haha. But your more mature and chic ode to your past is cool as ever! Love that lace top on you along with the skirt. I swear I had a similar flannel one in high school :)

I love this outfit, it kind of reminds me of stuff I would wear as a teenager too, although if my memories serves me correctly my skirts were shorter and my lace more see through (thankfully not many photos exist from that point in my life).
ReplyDeleteAnyway, the point was that you look absolutely amazing, I'm terrible at accessorizing but you've totally got it down! I especially love the pop of colour your yellow bag adds to the outfit xo
I love how this look is both edgy and ladylike! Super cute.
ReplyDeleteCUTE!!!!!
