Other Side of Town

Photobucket
Hey There!! I finally checked out the High Level streetcar this past weekend. It's something I had never done and always wanted to try, and it was really sweet. It takes you from Whyte ave to Downtown, where we wandered around and grabbed some tasty coffee at Credo. I'm really enjoying the exploring I've been doing of Edmonton lately, getting to know my city better.
My man friend and I took our bikes down around the low level bridge/telus field after we went on the streetcar and it was such a gorgeous day for it.  Not worrying about showing strangers and unsuspecting families your underthings is pretty important when biking so this dress is perfect, because it has built in shorts!! Besides the built in shorts, the cute floral print was a big selling feature. This open cardigan is one of my favourites too, it's nice to be able to start wearing more layers again, although I don't even want to think about tights and cold still.

  1. Well that's just the perfect biking outfit! The streetcar runs right by my parent's condo downtown (like under their window) so I ride it pretty frequently, it's such a fun touch of the historical.

  10. It is getting hot for the first time here in Portland, so I can't think about wearing any more clothing than legally required, haha. I've been exploring my area lately, too, and down the coast area too. It's so fun!

Oh, yeah. I almost forgot to tell you that the floral has great colors and I'm jealous of your layers. And you're cool. The usual.

  13. Ok, I gotta admit - that looks pretty darn fascinating! At first glance I really thought that dress/shorts combo was the same one I have from UO, but with a different print. So darling and definitely the best thing since sliced bread :) Have a blast exploring the town. Sounds pretty wonderful! xo Marisa
