Hello Loves, I hope you all had an amazing St. Paddy's day weekend! I went for a couple pints friday with a friend, and then my friends and I had a wonderful potluck dinner. We also watched Leprachaun 5 "in da hood" now I don' know if you've ever seen any of those movies, but, wow....terrible but so funny to watch with a group.
I was feeling a little crappy late last week and I needed a bright colour combination to punch up my mood. A pop of neon always pumps up my mood, neon and purple seemed like a lot of fun together. I've been really looking forward to brights, neons and pastels for spring. Which is crazy because 3 years ago even I would have seriously shied away from colour. I was comfortable in black, greys, dark purple etc. It's fun to take risks now though

I watched that movie last year on St. Patrick's Day and wow. Just wow. Love the injection of neon into this look as well - perfect for a Monday morning.

ps. I'm your newest follower! I love your blog.
Nothing beats a great pop of neon! I really like how it looks with your purple dress too.
ReplyDeleteThe purple and yellow that you're wearing here are absolutely meant to be together! It's funny, but they actually remind me of two markers I had when I was a kid from some kind of special fall colours set... I used to use the yellow and purple together all the time, along with a deep green-ish turquoise. Which, come to think of it, would fit in beautifully in this look, too. But honestly, it's already pretty much perfect :)

I both love and envy it:) Again another brilliant color combination...and it's hard to believe you are still needing to wear a scarf and have that much snow on the ground! You look incredibly lovely has always...hope you are feeling back to normal. Sounds like a perfect St. Pats day! xx Marisa

Your scarf is so lovely...so touchable...I can't believe it's from F21! I have a hard time finding anything worthwhile there, but everyone else seems to bang out the good deals when they go. No fair.
ReplyDeleteYour St. Paddy's Day sounds A LOT more eventful than mine...
P.S. Please sneak inside my suitcase and come on my vacation with me. Bring me your wardrobe while you're at it, too.
Hi, sweetie!
