Pastels in the Morning

Photobucket
Hello Loves, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Mine was pretty good, nothing too too exciting, just hanging out with some friends and studying. A wee bit of shopping in there too ;) I just had to go exchange something I ordered online for something else because it didn't fit quite right.
Finally I get to show you my new ``leather`` jacket. I have been looking for one like this forever, I had one I liked and bought 4 years ago but it was falling apart. Since I'm only 5`2 I wanted one that was shorter than normal and was having a really hard time finding it. I've been looking at local boutiques, leather shops, vintage stores, thrift stores, kids sections for over a year and while looking for something completely different  in F21 last week I found this one! I had never even thought to look there, but it fits just the way I want it too!
I loved the way the light blue dress with my blush scarf, mint nails and then leather jacket. Soft and hard are always fun to mix. Something typically girly and something  a bit more masculine is always such a great mix to me. The blush scarf and anatomical heart necklace are pretty perfect for heart month...Now if I could only find my heart print tights! Ah!

  8. You look so cute Jenna! This whole outfit is amazing, I love the blue and blush together (and that the blush scarf matches the blush on your cheeks, so cuuute)! :)
Beautiful jacket to, I'm also a fan of pairing girly things with tough ones.

  9. Eek! I love! I've being seeing leather jackets all over the place and I do kind of want one, but don't know if I can pull the whole look off. Completely brilliant how you paired yours up with pastels...giving it the perfect balance of edgy and still feminine. Your pink cowl is so pretty...really adoring that color as of late.

  10. I've been on the hunt for a "cropped" (as in, made for girls under 5'4") leather jacket for ages... No luck so far. So glad you found one that fits you perfectly, even if it isn't actually leather it looks like the real thing and the cut is fabulous. I love the edge it gives you your pastel dress and scarf - such beautiful contrast :)

    1. Haha, I could, except I never end up wearing them because of winter snow/ice. And trudging across campus is difficult in them.
