Ello Loves, hope the week is treating you well. Can you believe how soon Christmas is?! I have a few more gifts to buy, but we finally put up and decorated our tree so I'm getting in the spirit. And craving gingerbread cookies SO bad. My side is feeling much better today, I iced and heated it all day monday while typing up my project due today. Thank you for all the well wishes! I'm getting a chest Xray and visiting with my surgeon today (just for a check up!)
I saw this skirt at Joe Fresh last week and fell in love. It came in black, but I already have a few black skirts and wanted something a little different. I think it's really versatile, it will be great for some holiday parties coming up but also with sweaters for a more casual look. I decided to dress it down here with my denim top and cute polka dot tights. This denim top appears to be a little small these days (Does this mean my boobs are getting bigger?!) and is pulling. I hate when that happens!

I hate it when my button-downs pull like that too! Ugh, boobs are lame. Haha! Anyways, I have to tell you how much I love dressed down lace. It's SO beautiful! Great outfit :)
ReplyDeleteI somehow still don't own a proper denim button-up, loving this one though! Need to get on it soon, that's kind of a necessity in one's closet. Love the tougher material combined with the femme lace, so cute. Beautiful as always love!

Hi Jenna!
ReplyDeleteOh no, I didn't know you had problems with your side. I hope everything is ok and you'll be able to enjoy Christmas without pain! :-/ Knock on wood!
The outfit is lovely as usual, you always find such nice and versatile clothes, I'd love to go shopping with you so you could find some for me too haha ;D Really cute skirt! I've been looking for a lace skirt forever but I never find one that's knee-length.
And the shirt, well welcome to my world, I hardly find shirts where I'm able to close the upper button. But an undershirt or bustier underneath does the trick, so you can leave the button open without giving too much insight ;)
Jenna! I'm glad your side is feeling a bit better!!
ReplyDeleteI so debated between this skirt and the black one I bought, and now I want to go back for this one too! You look lovely! I'm so diggin' how you styled it up! I just might have to try the black with a denim top! Thanks for the inspiration sweets! xx Nat
Oh...and I so wish I could come visit and we could take skirt buddy photos! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the lace skirt and how you paired it with a denim shirt. Wish I could take outfit photos outside too, but it's too rainy, cold and dark over here.
ReplyDeleteCute look! I just adore lace and this skirt looks great and very versatile. I'm glad that you're feeling a bit better and I hope everything goes well at the doctor check up. I'm totally craving gingerbread cookies too by the way. :D
ReplyDeleteXOXO

Such a pretty combination!! Super cute!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm not actually currently in Zambia :( I spent 4 months there this past summer and it was the most amazing time of my life! I got soooo many clothes made there and I have only just started wearing them! There's was definitely a time lag in there where I didn't wear any of them, and I have no idea why!
Your look is fab :)
Um, this is just ADORABLE :) i love it.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your side is feeling better :)
