Good Morning!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far, our weather has turned much better, much less chilly! Last night I went to listen to my absolute favourite author Michael Ondaatje at the Winspear and it was so amazing. He's so talented and I got an autograph and he shook my hand! Very exciting stuff, definitely made my week.
I really love fall/winter florals and wearing them all layered up, so naturally I decided to do it myself. I really do love this dress, the florals are perfect for fall and the cinched in waist gives it such good shape. I paired it with my grandpa cardigan and my new green scarf, which is very cozy. I really like the combination of a cute dress and thick sweater in the winter, so you can guarentee you'll see this kind of combination again this winter.

Sounds like a fun night - it's been years since I've read anything by him but I love his work. And I also love that white cardigan on you!

You probably already know how much I love floral dresses with cozy sweaters :) Your dress is so so cute and I love the green scarf too, I have a similar one which is my favourite since I bought it :)
ReplyDeleteOh I wish we had snow here when i see your pics <3
Nice! I really like the white and green combo in the winter. I'm going to have to try it out. I'm not really into florals for myself, but they look wonderful on you! Glad your weather warmed up. Ours did too...the snow we got last week is almost gone.
ReplyDeleteOh the pattern on your dress is darling...love those colours and those cheerful round little flowers :) Great choice of black tights and boots too, 'cause it keeps the flowers the focus. Cute!

ReplyDeleteI love how good you are at winterizing otherwise spring-like pieces, this look is amazing against the snow backdrop with the warm, rich colours. You look beautiful as ever!
