Mmm-Mmm-Mustard

Photobucket
Good Morning my dears, I hope everyone had an absolutely wonderful weekend! Mine was pretty good, yesterday I got a lot of school work done then spent the evening relaxing on the couch with my two favourite guys, Duke and Bryce. We watched No Country for Old Men, which is an amazing movie and also the movie Bryce and I watched on our first date! Aww!

This is what I wore last week when it was ridiculously hot out, 31 degrees!! I never know how to dress myself for that kind of heat because it's kind of hard to be cool and comfortable no matter what. This was really comfortable for the day though, the materials are nice and light! I still wanted to wear fall colours but in a lightweight way good enough for summer weather. I love this mustard skirt so much, I already am planning out outfits with it for cooler weather...black tights, knee high boots? I think so.  And I just couldn't resist wearing it with stripes here, there's something so good about mustard, white and black.

  3. I'm really loving the mustard colors this Fall but I'm afraid to wear them because I think it would wash me out. But after seeing you in this skirt I think I may give it a go! Cute outfit once again ; )

  4. I love that mustard shade - it'll be such a great fall piece! And I'm with you on being terrible at dressing for extreme heat, I feel uncomfortable in practically everything I put on.

  16. No Country for Old Men was mine and Tom's first date too! Well actually we attempted to see Sweeny Todd and ended up leaving after 15 mins so I could the Coen Brothers as a more romantic second choice! Don't you think the killer man (i forget names) looks like Robert from Everybody Loves Raymond?
Love your outfit here, care to swap wardrobes? I want every one of your outfits...

  19. I know exactly what you mean, it was unbearably hot here until today and no matter what I wore, it was just sweaty and uncomfortable :( I think you did a better job of dealing with it than I did, though. That mustard skirt is so cute and chic, and the striped tank was the perfect choice to match with it :)
