Dots and Tribal

Photobucket

Hello dears, I hope all is well! I am feeling a bit better, and I'm pretty sure shopping will help with that. Stupid head colds + PMS, makes me grumpy. Although on tuesday since I had the day off I started watching Mad Men, and now I'm hooked, such wonderful costumes. But good god it makes me happy I wasn't alive during the 50's, the way the women were treated gets me mad. I feel so lucky that I, as a woman have so many options and am able to do what I want and have so much independence.
My favourite thing (if you couldn't already tell) is print mixing and I decided to mix two really summery prints. Polka dots and tribal print, and I love the way they mix together. Ive had this polka dotted sheer blouse for years now, and while I love the idea of it I always find myself annoyed with the sleeves when I put it on, Im not a big puffed sleeve person. I added a couple silver necklaces that I love and was off for a walk and going for lunch with my brother. I know these pictures arent the best in the world, it was just one of those days haha.

  5. so funny how certain things usually come in certain styles?? like how you'll usually find polkas in sheer, blousy, puffy sleeved styles? and striped tees in horizontal formation?? lol.

it's a very cute mix though, even with the poufy sleeves! love that huge ring!
