Pineapple Express

Good day my lovelies. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and your weeks are starting off well! I had yesterday off so I had a long weekend and today is my monday. Of course I don't want to go back to work though. Does anyone ever want to work? I would love to spend all day on my deck everyday with a good book.

This is an outfit from late last week when I spent all day reading on my deck, but I had to work in the evening. I ended up burning my poor pale skin on my shoulders/chest even though I had sunscreen on! But its all better now.

This top is silk, and feels gorgeous on, I love the print and colour. It has pinapples on it, how could I ever say no to pinapples! I love the top together with the striped skirt, they fit together really well. And my hair is up! I never wear my hair up, but this day because of the heat + wind, it was necessary. It felt like the perfect summer outfit to me!

    Cute top! And i love the flower in your hair, you look so pretty with it. I have to wear SPF 60 so I don't burn, maybe you need a higher SPF? Be careful in the sun!

    @ Marie, I usually wear a 45, and a 60 on my face. I had been out for about 30 minutes before I remembered to put it on, so it was really my own silly fault!

    I SERIOUSLY love that shirt!!!! SOOOOO summer, I really love it! I got a bit burnt the other day too. Our paleness was just not ready for that sun!

    One of the great tragedies of my life is that I am allergic to pineapple, because of course I love it in spite of that. Maybe if I had an adorable pineapple print top like yours, it would be a small consolation...? A girl can dream :) Love your hair like this- I'm just realising now that I don't think I've ever seen you with you hair up, and you look gorgeous! But of course, you always do ;)

    That top is just too much fun! The bright blue withthe pineapple print actually works very nicely with the stripped skirt. It's not a combo I would've thought of, since I tend to shy away from really bold prints. But man, you sure do make it look beautiful!
