Going tribal

Photobucket

Good Morning!! It's a really beautiful sunny morning here, the snow has been steadily melting all week. I can't wait to be able to see grass and even the sidewalk. I'm getting excited for days of bare legs, sunscreen and blossoms on the trees.

This is what I wore yesterday to do a huge amount of running around and then to work. I swear I drove all over this city, doing this and that. My Ipod decided to commit suicide (I have no idea why it stopped working) so I had to drive it to emergency (the apple store) and have them try to revive it. Which worked, so I'm a happy girl.

I am finallly wearing the tribal print top I bought over a month ago, it's harder to incorporate than I thought because it's a onsie. I love the print on it though, such fantastic colours, and it happened to match this teal skirt I had perfectly. Almost looks like they belonged together? I lost this skirt in my room for 3 weeks, don't you hate when that happens?! Anyways, I thought a black cardigan would be too dark and too "easy" so I grabbed this one and belted it. I quite liked it, and got a few compliments on this at work.

I wish I had of taken a picture, but these flats have studs all over the back of them. I had a pair last year that I loved death, literally & figuratively, so these are kind of similar.

  1. I love that tribal print right now, too! In fact, Aldo (gasp, I know, the competition) has a pair of flats that I'm going to have to bring home in a similar print. Such a reasonable price and stinking cute.

  2. I like how the sweater breaks up the pattern and makes it look casual. Very cute!

  4. I love shoes that have unexpected details like that.

I also am dreaming of summer. Our snow has melted but now it's cold and raining. Not cool.

  9. I totally thought that was a dress, those two pieces go together so well! And dude, is that the non-wrinkly version of my same skirt from F21?? I think so! You rock it way better than me... I need to find me an iron and an ironing board, methinks.

Also I'm completely astonished by the amount of snow all around you. How on earth? Don't you know it's April? ;)

  13. Oh God, your iPod committed suicide, too? I thought I was the only one! Lucky that the Apple store was able to revive yours- mine wasn't so lucky :( You look pretty fabulous for a girl doing errands, by the way. Seriously. I already knew I loved this F21 skirt, but paired with the printed top it's even better!
