Happy Anniversary Blog!!

It's our one year anniversary here at smitten :) my first ever blog post is here that feels like so long ago!! I didn't really get into the blog and posting very much until september of this year because of health issues. But I am sooo happy I started this. It has really pushed me to dress up, even on days when I feel like just throwing on jeans and a tshirt. It's forced me to experiment more and get out of my comfort zone, which is really fun sometimes (& just plain funny other times) I feel like I've met and got to talk to so many wonderful people through blogging too! My followers are so wonderful and I want to thank everyone who reads this, you guy's always make my day :)

On to my outfit, I went for a cardiac MRI this day so I was super sleepy afterwards but I wanted to put on something fun for work to put me in a good mood! It definitely worked, this silky bright yellow ruffle skirt is one of my favorites. I got this gingham button up from a vintage shop in Victoria for $11, and I loove it, it's going to be so great for spring/summer. I have a serious thing for gingham, but I don't own very much of it. So I had to snap this up when I saw it. This outfit felt reallly fun
I used my first 50% off from work to buy these amazing peeptoe high heeled booties. They're actually really comfortable, I wore them for 8 hours at work even. The only time I'm breaking my shopping ban this month is for stuff that I have on hold at work, because I can only have it on hold for 2 weeks. Or to replace my poor polka dot tights (pictured below) I wore them to death!
