Hold on

Photobucket

Greetings from indoors, since it is -26 outside with a windchill that feels like -36. I just don't have the lady balls to go outside in some cute outfit today. So I bring you what I wore to work, from inside my bathroom. We live in a house that my grandparents built so it's about 60 years old and has the worst natural lighting. So it gives me little options.

I am having some serious back pain right now, my lower back is very mad at me. I worked out hard yesterday, but thats not why it's mad at me. It's mad at me because for some reason PMS makes me have the worst back pain ever. Vaginas suck sometimes.

This dress is one of my favorites, I love the print and the ruffles along the neckline. And it's incredibly comfortable. The only problem I have with it is it has to be handwashed and ironed. What a pain, I can't take it on trips because it'll become a little wrinkly ball of a dress. I added my leopard print belt for some print mixing and my giant cardigan for warmth at work.

  2. What a shame your dress is so high maintenance, because the pattern is so unusual and fun. I actually kind of like the mood lighting in these photos, but I understand your frustration- we have one overhead light in our entire apartment. Not very helpful for photo-taking :P

i think you are one wise little lady to be staying inside on a day like that, my gosh it sounds brrrr-eezy there. i thought i was bad for basically living by our space heater and drinking hot cocoa.

love your candid commentary and "feel" your pain lades, oh yes i do. adorable outfit and rad you added leopard belt to the mix. you really remind me of that other blogger, Elsie, maybe you've heard of her ; )

cheers to a warm front moving in. ♥

  6. Ya know, people just dont blog about vagina's enough OR lady balls! Which I had none of either today! I hate to love my high maintenance clothes, there so nice but I can't be bothered to spend all the time taking care of them! This dress is pretty cute tho...I MAY even iron it if it were mine. The leopard print belt is perfect with it!

  13. okay i saw the temperatures alone and was all - this girl's gotta be canadian.' i grew up in canada and those temps singlehandedly drove me out of there, but i do get to visit in summer when it's pretty much one of the best places ever.

back to you. you have sick hair. and by sick hair i mean fantastic and healthy and love the semi hive in back. additionally - i have nothing but love for someone who mixes in a leopard belt with anything, but especially a big print. it looks great!
