Banff Bound

Photobucket
Here are some photos from Saturday when Bryce and I drove down to Banff for the weekend!! I decided to wear something comfy and cozy which is a good thing I did because it was coooold there (Oh hi -20 degrees celcius and 80 PERCENT HUMIDITY! AH!) I absolutly love this flannel dress I bought, it's not only comfortable but it is really cute, it has ruffles by the neck!! I decided to wear my amazing cardigan from F21 that I just bought (& bought the same one for the friend I had for secret santa). This is such an amazing sweater, I think I've worn it a billion times in the past 2 weeks. Also i threw my purple hat on and was good to go. I was definatly looking for an outfit that was "cozy chic outdoors" haha. I think I pulled that off. Sorry theres only like 2 outfit pictures, it was freezing and I was cranky wandering around!!
Even though it was ridiculously cold we had such a good time. The room we stayed in had a loft area with the king sized bed, and downstairs there was a fireplace. Yeah, so sweet. We went out for the best steak I've ever eaten in my whole life at a place called the Saltlik. Seriously best meal ever. We had a gingerbread cake with vanilla ice cream and apples for dessert and Bryce said "This tastes what I'd imagine Scarlett Johannson would taste like" hahaaha, boys say the most interesting things! Anyways, I will have lots more photos from the weekend soon.
*PS. I am so happy to be free from finals!! I am now in full on christmas mode (spent monday finishing up the shopping and today wrapping!!

  1. Aw, I love those animal hats! I can't wait to see you wear yours :) The picture of you with the giant dogs is hilarious- if it were me, I would probably have let both dogs jump on me and lick my face :P The weather in Banff sounds awful, but it looks like you managed to make it fun, anyway :)

  2. What a fun trip! I don't know how I would feel walking around in such cold temperatures, but I'm pretty sure I'd be cranky. You look so cute and warm in your outfit!

  5. We didn't run into each other in banff! haha Looks you had a lovely time! I tried snow blading and despite my hatred for downhill snow sports I kinda liked them!
